The purpose of CHETNA’s Case Management Program is to help clients assess their short and long-term needs and goals in the areas of housing, counseling, legal, employment, and education. CHETNA’s culture-specific services are customized to meet clients where they are.
Identifying short and long-term safety goals and action steps with clients.
Compassionate peer guidance, emotional support, and continuous advocacy.
Court accompaniment, protective order guidance, and legal aid connection.
Coordinating with mainstream and South Asian culture-specific service providers.
Liaison between the client, attorneys, counselors, and healthcare providers.
Household budgeting, public transit, apartment/job search, and parenting skills.
Educational workshops, workforce development, and financial literacy training.
Trauma dynamics education, safety planning, coping techniques, and empowerment.
